Meet Jessica Morales Velasquez, a driven and committed professional dedicated to making financial planning more accessible and empowering for individuals from all walks of life. As a Financial and Tax Support Intern at Alison Wealth Management, she is gaining hands-on experience in financial planning, tax preparation, and client service within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Education & Experience
Jessica is currently pursuing a Business Administration degree at Winthrop University, with a concentration in Finance and Accounting. She is working toward both her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and certified public accountant designations, preparing for a career helping clients navigate their financial futures.
At Alison Wealth Management, Jessica assists with client onboarding, account servicing, and meeting preparation. She supports tax preparers by organizing tax documents and performing data entry while also collaborating with financial advisors on reports, client data, and research. Additionally, she helps maintain the firm’s customer relationship management system and ensures high service standards.
Jessica is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) and volunteers with VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance), reinforcing her commitment to financial literacy and client support. In her long-term career, Jessica hopes to work toward redefining wealth management as a practical, approachable tool for everyone and leveraging her fluency in Spanish to connect with even more clients in need.

Outside of work and academics, Jessica enjoys reading, playing the piano, and relaxing at a coffee shop with an iced vanilla latte in hand. As the oldest of four sisters, she deeply values family, connection, and her Guatemalan heritage, always finding ways to strengthen her bonds with loved ones.
