As a Certified Financial Planner™, Enrolled Agent (EA) admitted to practice before the IRS, and investment advisor representative (IAR), David brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.
Education & Experience
David's educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Music from Boston University, where he cultivated a unique blend of analytical and creative skills. Complementing his passion for music, he earned a Certificate of Financial Planning from Boston University School of Professional Education, further enhancing his understanding of financial strategies.
Prior to joining Alison Wealth Management, David developed his expertise as a tax expert at Intuit®, the renowned makers of TurboTax®, where he guided clients in need through the tax filing process. He also held a key position at Intuit's QuickBooks Live department as a lead bookkeeper which gave him invaluable insights into national tax strategies and planning.
Committed to keeping up with the evolving landscape of finance, David has completed the National Association of Enrolled Agent's Cryptocurrency Certificate Program. This specialized training helped David become highly proficient in navigating the complex tax issues of cryptocurrencies and transactions in the metaverse.
To ensure he is always up to date on industry knowledge, David is an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Financial Planning Association’s Boston Chapter, in addition to following the latest tax law developments in court cases.

When not assisting clients of Alison Wealth Management, David cherishes his time with his wife, Julie, and their delightful 4-year-old daughter, Poppy. In his leisure time, David likes to make music with Poppy, watch football, and explore his interests in renewable energy and electric cars.
